“Our mission is to provide young men and women the tools with which to build strong character and positive self-esteem, develop responsible decision-making skills, and improve family relationships.”

Providing multidimensional education in a structured and supportive environment in which all students can succeed. Whereas public schools tend to focus on the middle of the bell curve, i.e. the “average” student, Horizon Academy has the skill and resources to devote the necessary attention to students who, for whatever reasons, are at either end of the curve. Furthermore, we recognize that teen behavior problems do not emerge from “nowhere” or “society” at large. As such, the parents and family members of our students are expected to participate fully in building healthy, loving, structured relationships with their children during and following their time at Horizon Academy.
