The values of Horizon Academy are honesty, positivism, accountability, service, hard work and gratitude. Our remote rural location on the Nevada/California border gives our students the opportunity to enjoy a life of simplicity and to develop an appreciation of nature and physical activity. We allow students to live far away from the temptations and confusion of advertising media, an unhealthy emphasis on materialism and greed, and non-working relationships.
